Number of COVID-19 Infected People in Tajikistan Reaches 461

There are 82 new COVID-19 cases in Tajikistan as of today, bringing the total number to 461. The number of those who could not recover has reached twelve people, reports the Tajik Ministry of Health and Social Protection of the Population.

As of May 7, 4,205 people have been under medical supervision and 345 people have been discharged over the past 24 hours.

The Tajik government and the Ministry of Health are currently taking all necessary measures to prevent and treat a new type of coronavirus COVID-19.

The Health Ministry urges all country’s residents to strictly follow the rules of personal hygiene in order to prevent this disease, as well as in case of onset of symptoms of the disease to immediately consult a family doctor.
