The Ministry of Health and Social Protection of the Population of Tajikistan published and distributed for citizens 13 thousand copies of WHO guidelines and recommendations to reduce the risk of coronavirus infection.
This measure is aimed at increasing awareness of the public about this infection and observing sanitary and hygienic rules to prevent it.
It should be noted that the Ministry has strengthened its control over all country’s checkpoints and international airports in order to prevent coronavirus infection and works round the clock in this direction.
Currently, more than 900 citizens, who arrived to Tajikistan from China, are being supervised by doctors in the country’s infectious hospitals. Fortunately, no cases of coronavirus infection have been reported so far.
According to the latest data, the death toll from coronavirus in China exceeded one thousand, while the number of infected people reached more than 42 thousand.
