In order to implement the National Rehabilitation Program of Disabled Persons for 2017-2020, an effective measures have been taken in Ayni district and 23 rehabilitation centers, including 1 consultation room, 12 homes for children with disabilities and 10 rehabilitation centers were created as well as buildings were remodeled and reconstructed. Also district’s administrative buildings and pedestrian streets are provided with necessary sidewalks.
During the first 6 months of the current year, on the eve of holidays, 1307 needy people of the district received material assistance in the amount of 345,7 thousand Tajik somoni by the district’s chairman office, businessmen and generous people. Also, during this period, 4 disabled people received wheelchairs and 2 thousand 311 low-income families were provided with social assistance.
It should be noted that 57 medical institutions, including 8 hospitals, 22 health centers, 27 health houses and 1 center of state sanitary and epidemiological surveillance operate in Ayni district.
The construction of hospital for 40 beds is currently underway Urmetan village, and a dentistry and pharmacy in Urmetan village, as well as a pharmacy and ultrasound diagnostic in Dar-Dar village have been commissioned.
