A regional contest ‘Vorisoni Sino’ was held in Khatlon. It was initiated by the Chairman of Khatlon region Qurbon Hakimzoda and aimed to encourage health professionals and improve the level and quality of health services.
The first winners of this contest in 2019 have been announced.
According to the contest regulations, six medical workers annually will get contest’s awards.
According to the Health Department of Khatlon region, six doctors, including Ibrohim Musoev, Sherali Hodiev, Tolibjon Beknazarov, Shamsullo Olimzoda, Suhrob Saidaliev, Muhiddin Kamarov were announced the contest’s winners and awarded cash prizes in the amount of five thousand Tajik somoni by the Khatlon’s Chairman.
In order to strengthen the health sector and attract doctors of Khatlon region in research, this tradition will continue, and it is hoped that dozens of scholars of this region will be able to defend their PhD in the coming years.
According to the Health Department of the Khatlon region, there are currently 3,331 employees working in public health facilities, including three doctors and 23 candidates of medical sciences.
