Coronavirus infection was not registered among the 236 citizens who arrived in Tajikistan from China in early February and were hospitalized in the Infectious Disease Hospital in Dushanbe.
Chief doctor of the Dushanbe’s Infectious Disease Hospital Khurshed Habibzoda told moh.tj.
He also noted that 34 of them are Chinese citizens working in Tajikistan.
According to him, the hospitalized are currently provided with meals three times a day and it is expected that they will be sent home by February 15.
More than 700 citizens, who arrived from China to Tajikistan, are under the control of doctors at infectious diseases hospitals and quarantined. Fortunately, no cases of coronavirus infection have been reported so far.
Currently, the Ministry of Health and Social Protection of the Population of Tajikistan is strengthening preventive measures at border crossings and international airports in order to prevent the spread of coronavirus infection and works in this direction are going around the clock.
