On August 29, the Minister of Health and Social Protection of the Population Jamoliddin Abdullozoda left for Bokhtar of Khatlon region to get acquainted with the course of construction of health facilities as well as with the sanitary and epidemiological situation, including the strengthening of preventive measures against COVID-19.
As part of the working visit, Abdullozoda accompanying by Deputy Chairman of Khatlon region Firuza Sharifi visited the construction site of the Center for Maternal and Child Health in the B. Vohidov Regional Clinical Hospital.
As it was informed, the center consists of three floors and 60 highly qualified builders are involved in its construction. It should be noted that after complete overhaul, the center will be provided with the latest medical equipment.
While familiarizing, the Minister instructed the officials to intensify the process of construction work and strictly control their quality.
According to officials, the center’s construction is expected to be completed in November.
Abdullozoda also got acquainted with the course of construction of the Davo Diagnostic and Medical Center and the Non-Governmental Medical College, which are being built at the initiative of local entrepreneurs.
During the visit, Abdullozoda discussed the sanitary and epidemiological situation in Khatlon with officials and instructed them to strengthen measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
