In order to get acquainted with the activities of health facilities and their preparation for the winter, the analysis of the sanitary and epidemiological situation, in particular the prevention and treatment of COVID-19, the leadership of the Ministry of Health and Social Protection of the Population continues to visit health facilities.
For this purpose, on November 12, Minister Jamoliddin Abdullozoda visited the central hospitals of Bokhtar and Levakand.
During the visit, Abdullozoda met with officials of the Department of Health of Khatlon region and the heads of hospitals to discuss the preparation of health facilities for the winter, monitoring the sanitary and epidemiological situation, in particular compliance with COVID-19 preventing rules in health facilities, strengthening home visits and explanatory work among population regarding COVID-19 prevention, improvement of medical services and other related issues as well as gave specific instructions to the officials to eliminate the existing shortcomings and problems.
Minister also got acquainted with the course of treatment of a number of patients in the central hospitals of Bokhtar and Levakand.
It should be noted that in recent years in the light of constant attention and support of President Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon a number of modern medical facilities with modern medical equipment built and commissioned in Bokhtar and Levakand.
