On November 16 the First Deputy Minister of Health and Social Protection of the Population Ghafur Muhsinzoda met with the Director General of the Asian Development Bank (ADB) for Central and West Asia Eugene Zhukov.
Muhsinzoda expressed satisfaction with the mutually beneficial cooperation between the Government of Tajikistan, in particular the Ministry of Health and Social Protection of the Population and the ADB. He also noted that a number of projects are being successfully implemented in the field of health.
Also, Muhsinzoda informed Zhukov about the progress of the vaccination campaign against COVID-19 and the state of storage of vaccines in the country.
The parties expressed interest in further expanding cooperation in the field of health.
It should be noted that the Government of Tajikistan within the framework of the open door policy established good cooperation with international and regional organizations, including the ADB, and is constantly taking measures to expand it.
