Today, the Minister of Health and Social Protection of the Population Jamoliddin Abdullozoda met with Portfolio Manager at Islamic Development Bank Mohamed Suhail.
The parties exchanged views on the implementation of the Mobile Medical Services Project in remote areas of Tajikistan.
It should be noted that on October 27, 2014 in Dushanbe signed an agreement between the Republic of Tajikistan and the Islamic Development Bank (as administrator of the King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Charitable Program) on the implementation of grants for the purchase and operation of mobile clinics in rural areas of Tajikistan.
The program through the IDB provided a set of mobile clinics to provide quality medical care in rural areas of Tajikistan.
The mobile clinics are large vehicles, the length of which according to European standards is 18 meters and a height of 4.2 meters, and their width is expanded to 6.5 meters.
The interior of the mobile medical complex is equipped with various rooms, including obstetrics, ophthalmology, cardiology, ultrasound, digital X-ray, computed tomography, mammography and equipment for small endoscopy.
