Today, the Minister of Health and Social Protection of the Population Jamoliddin Abdullozoda met with US Agency for International Development Deputy Assistant Administrator of the Bureau for Asia Anjali Kaur.
The parties expressed interest in expanding cooperation in various areas of health.
Abdullozoda noted that the Ministry of Health and Social Protection of the Population cooperates with US relevant agencies, including the Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministry and the USAID for 2025 was signed, according to which a number of projects are being implemented.
One of the most successful USAID projects in Tajikistan today is Healthy Mother, Healthy Child. The project aims to improve the health and nutrition of mothers and children under the age of 5 through family, community and health services in Tajikistan by 2025.
