In cooperation with the Islamic Development Bank, within the framework of the project “Improving medical services for mothers and children in four districts of Khatlon region”, 9 Mercedes Benz Sprinter and Toyota Land Cruiser ambulances were purchased and presented to Norak, Dangara, Baljuvan and Khovaling.
The official ceremony of handing over vehicles was held on July 5 in Dushanbe with the presence of representatives of the Ministry of Health and Social Protection of the Population and other relevant institutions.
It was mentioned that the availability of these vehicles to the target districts of the project will help to further improve medical services for residents.
These ambulances were equipped with modern medical equipment and were transported to the central hospitals of Norak, Dangara, Baljuvon and Khovaling, as well as to the Republican Clinical Hospital of Dangara, to provide high-quality medical care to the population.
