The 7 th Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists of Tajikistan, which was attended by the Minister of Health and Social Protection of the Population JamoliddinAbdullozoda, representatives of the Parliament, the People’s Democratic Party of Tajikistan, heads of maternity hospitals and industry experts, was held in Dushanbe.
It was noted that after gaining State independence, the healthcare sector is in the center of attention of the state and the government of Tajikistan, a number of important works have been carried out to improve the medical care of the country’s citizens. In all corners of the country, during this period, many health care facilities have been built, put into operation and equipped with modern equipment.
In order to improve the level and quality of medical services for mothers and children, the State Institution “Scientific Research Institute of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Perinatology of Tajikistan,” which provides assistance throughout the country, is considered the main healthcare institution for organizing and providing medical care. The mission and directions of this research institute is the preparation and conduct of clinical research on topical issues of obstetrics, gynecology and perinatology, the study of maternal and child morbidity factors, the preparation of basic foundations for maintaining and strengthening the health of mothers and children, the preparation of national, regional and sectoral prevention programs diseases of mothers and children.
The creation of a new scientific department of endocrinological and reproductive gynecology, the conclusion of scientific agreements with research institutions of St. Petersburg of the Russian Federation, Kazakhstan and other countries gave good results and contributed to the development of the scientific and theoretical work of the institute.
Also, the institute has created advanced training courses in obstetrics, gynecology and neonatology.
One of the main goals set for the management and employees of the State Institution “Scientific Research Institute of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Perinatology of Tajikistan” is to ensure the health of mothers and children. The Institute has all the favorable conditions and opportunities to fulfill this responsible task.
