As part of a working visit of a group of Iranian doctors to Tajikistan, doctors of both countries exchanged experience in performing complex surgical operations in the departments of oncology and neurology.
In particular, an endoscopic oncological operation was performed at the Istiklol health complex with the participation of the rector of the Shiraz University of Medical Sciences of Iran and Tajik doctors.
It should be noted that such a surgical operation in the oncological field is one of the most complex surgical operations.
Also, with the participation of Tajik and Iranian doctors, endoscopic nerve surgery was performed at the Istiklol health complex.
The goal and task of establishing an exchange of experience with doctors of Iran is to further increase such complex surgical operations in the field of medicine.
The Iranian doctors discussed with their Tajik counterparts the implementation of new diagnostic and treatment methods and expressed a desire to expand cooperation in this direction.
