On July 12, the next meeting of the board of the Ministry of Health and Social Protection of the Population of the Republic of Tajikistan was held on the results of the activity of the Ministry and its sub-structures in the first six months of 2024.
It was attended by the Minister of Health and Social Protection of the Population Jamoliddin Abdullozoda, First Deputy Minister Ghafur Muhsinzoda, Deputy Ministers Shodikhon Jamshed, Zulfiya Abdusamatzoda, Abdukholiq Amirzoda, heads of the sectoral services, heads of health departments of GBAO, Khatlon and Sugd, republican centers and health institutions and other employees.
Initially, Abdullozoda reported about the activities of the ministry and its sub-structures in the first six months of 2024.
It was reported that in 6 months of 2024, 34 health care institutions worth 44.1 million somoni were built and put into operation, as well as 110 healthcare institutions were repaired for a total amount of 14.6 million somoni have.
In the reporting period, in order to increase the level and quality of medical services to the population, the Ministry provided a number of institutions of the sector with medical goods and medicines in the amount of 112.99 million somoni, which is 32.83 million somoni more than in the same period of last year.
Then, heads of regional health departments and heads of republican medical institutions reported about their activities in the first six months of 2024.
Further, the current state of health care in regions, cities and districts was analyzed and discussed.
