Today on the margin of the Annual Address of the Founder of Peace and National Unity-the Leader of the Nation, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rakhmon delivered to the Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan a working meeting with the leadership of the Minister of the Health and Social Protection of the Population of Tajikistan Nasim Olimzoda was held.
The private medical enterprises and pharmaceutical companies attended the meeting.
During the meeting those shortcomings and drawbacks existing in the healthcare system of the country which were criticized while delivering the Annual Address by the Head of State Emomali Rakhmon to the Parliament were discussed.
Nasim Olimzoda during his speech at the meeting said that this year the President of the country Emomali Rakhmon during his address paid a special attention to the health of population and expressed his opinion on some of the shortcomings, including on the issues such as providing primary health care service funded by the state budget. The responsible faces were obliged to improve the level and quality of the medical services and treatment and behavior of the doctors with patients as well. So these challenges force us to improve the level and quality of medical services.
Meanwhile the issues such as prevention of the import, sell and manufacturing the low-grade drugs, contract the infectious diseases the patients while undergoing treatment in the medical facilities were pointed out in the President’s Annual Address to Parliament. And we must undertake concrete and necessary measures to eliminate the existing problems in our field-noted N. Olimzoda.
At the meeting the issues of the amendments and proposals to the country’s Penal Code and the Code about administrative offences in a new edition were taken into consideration. On this issue Said Davlatzoda, the Deputy Head of the State Control Health Service and Social Protection of Population gave a speech and noted that the objective of introducing of these amendments and proposals to the draft Law is to prevent the import, sell and producing substandard medicines within country and decrease the development of the infectious illnesses in the medical facilities.
Each of us-the medical staffs are obliged to observe all the legal documents of Tajikistan and the orders and instructions given by the Ministry of Health and Social Protection of Population in this direction.
The issues such as improvement the level and quality of the medical services to the citizens of the country, good behavior and treatment by the medical staffs towards patients, providing the primary health care services by both the private and state-run medical enterprises regardless of their properties were considered at the working meeting as well.
