Analysis and Review of the Healthcare Sector in the Cities and Districts of Republican Subordination

On October 25, a working meeting was held at the Ministry of Health and Social Protection of the Population of the Republic of Tajikistan to review the results of the activities of healthcare institutions in the cities and districts of republican subordination over the first nine months of the current year.

The meeting was attended by Deputy Minister of Health and Social Protection of the Population of the Republic of Tajikistan Abdukholiq Amirzoda, as well as heads of central hospitals and health centers of the related cities and districts.

At the beginning of the meeting, Fayzali Abdualimov, Head of the Department for the Organization of Medical Services and Modern Technologies of the Ministry, presented a report on the performance of healthcare institutions in these regions during the reporting period.

In his presentation, Abdualimov provided an overview of the current state of the healthcare sector, including infrastructure development and improvement works, achievements, the status of communicable and non-communicable diseases, and the overall functioning of healthcare facilities in the reporting period.

Following the report, Deputy Minister Abdukholiq Amirzoda emphasized several key issues concerning the development of the healthcare sector and the improvement of service quality in the cities and districts of republican subordination.

Following the meeting, the Deputy Minister gave specific instructions and recommendations to the heads of healthcare institutions to further enhance the quality and accessibility of medical services for the population and to address existing challenges and shortcomings in the sector.
