In accordance with the Main Action Plan of Tajikistan’s presidency in the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) for 2020-2021, a meeting of SCO health ministers is scheduled for this year in Dushanbe.
In this regard, on June 1, a meeting of the group of SCO experts chaired by Tajik side was via online in order to prepare documents for the meeting of health ministers, which is scheduled for June 30 this year in Dushanbe.
The meeting was attended by experts from Russia, China, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Pakistan and India.
The meeting focused on the draft Plan of Health Cooperation of the SCO Member States for 2022-2024 and the Joint Statement of the SCO Ministers of Health.
While considering the proposals of the parties, the documents will be supplemented and the meeting Protocol and the above documents will be submitted to the SCO Secretariat for sending to the SCO member states.
It should be noted that a meeting of SCO health ministers will be held on June 30 this year under the chairmanship of the Minister of Health and Social Protection of the Population of Tajikistan.
