The first meeting of Coordination Council for Implementation of Digital Health in Tajikistan was held on February 20 in Dushanbe.
The meeting was attended by the Deputy Minister of Health and Social Protection of the Population of Tajikistan Mirhamuddin Kamolzoda, Head of the Center for Information and Communication Technologies of the Presidential Executive Office N. Mirzoyon, Chief Specialist of the Ministry of Health and Social Protection of the Population on the Health Management Information System S. Saifiddinov, heads of departments and other field staff.
It was noted digital health is the use of modern technology to collect data and to establish links to improve the level and quality of health of the population. With the use of digital health, significant gains can be made in patient treatment, research, implementation of training, patient follow-up, and evaluation of public health in the country as a whole.
The aim of establishing the Coordination Council for Implementation of Digital Health in Tajikistan is to create a national digital health care system in order to provide comprehensive, timely, accessible and usable health services through the provision of information, bases, standards, confidentiality and digital analyzes.
