From May 27 through June 1, the 77th session of the World Health Assembly was held in Geneva (Switzerland), which was attended by a delegation of the Republic of Tajikistan headed by Deputy Minister of Health and Social Protection of the Population Zulfiya Abdusamatzoda.
The delegation of Tajikistan held a number of bilateral meetings, including at the Permanent Mission of the Russian Federation to the UN organizations, signed a Roadmap to assist in the implementation of the Intergovernmental Agreement between the Republic of Tajikistan and the Russian Federation in the field of health, medicine and science.
It should be noted that the Roadmap has been developed with the definition of priorities, which will help in the implementation of extended and short-term courses for healthcare and pharmaceutical specialists.
Also, as part of the regular elections of the Regional Director of the World Health Organization Office for European countries, an informal meeting was held between Regional Director of the WHO Office for European Countries Hans Kluge and the heads of the delegation of the member states of the WHO Office for European Countries.
It should be noted that the election ceremony will be held in Copenhagen (Denmark) on October this year, and representatives of the member states have been invited to participate in this important campaign.
It should be noted that the delegation of Tajikistan under the leadership of Academician Salomudin Yusufi, as a member of the General Committee of the World Health Organization, took part in relevant meetings.
