The Minister of Health and Social Protection of the Population of Tajikistan was awarded the Special Certificate of Merit of the World Health Organization for the effective fight against COVID-19 and significant results in this area.
The presenting ceremony of the Certificate of Merit was held today, February 18, at the National Library of Tajikistan during a joint review meeting of the first year of implementation of the “Public Health Strategy of the Republic of Tajikistan for the period up to 2030” (Summit-1).
The Certificate was presented to the Minister of Health and Social Protection of the Population Jamoliddin Abdullozoda by the WHO Health Policy Adviser in Tajikistan Ilker Dashtan.
As it was noted, Tajikistan is one of the six countries in the world that has achieved significant results in the fight against COVID-19.
