On July 23, the Minister of Health and Social Protection of the Population of the Republic of Tajikistan, Jamoliddin Abdullozoda, participated and made speech at the 25th International AIDS Conference, which was held in Munich, Germany.
During the conference, Jamoliddin Abdullozoda made speech on the topic “Tajikistan’s experience in prevention and resistance against HIV” and informed the audience about the experiences gained in this area.
In particular, he noted that 3 national programs for the protection of the population against HIV have been implemented in Tajikistan.
“Also, as part of the National Program on Resistance to the Epidemic of Human Immunodeficiency Virus and Acquired Immunodeficiency Disease in the Republic of Tajikistan for the years 2021-2025, the activities of industry institutions are ongoing”, added minister.
It should be noted that conference is attending by representatives of 175 countries. It will run until July 26 and participants will discuss ways to prevent HIV infection.
On the margins of the conference, Jamoliddin Abdullozoda met with the WHO Regional Director for Europe Hans Kluge.
The parties exchanged views on the “Roadmap for health and well-being in Central Asia for 2022-2025”.
