On August 31, the Minister of Health and Social Protection of the Population Jamoliddin Abdullozoda met with the working group of the World Bank regarding the launch of the Healthy Nation project.
On behalf of the Government of Tajikistan, Abdullozoda expressed gratitude to the World Bank for continuous support in the field of healthcare and social protection of the country’s population.
It was noted that currently several projects are being successfully implemented in the country in the field of health and social protection of the population with the financing of the World Bank.
The Healthy Nation project was developed as part of the implementation of the National Health Protection Strategy of Tajikistan for the period until 2030.
Its goal is to further improve the level and quality of medical services for the population in the country.
The parties also exchanged views on various areas of the Healthy Nation project.
