Today, the Minister of Health and Social Protection of the Population of Tajikistan Jamoliddin Abdullozoda met with Polish physicians, who arrived in Dushanbe on Saturday.
Abdullozoda noted the mutually beneficial cooperation between Tajikistan and Poland and called the physicians visit a continuation of mutually beneficial cooperation between the two states.
It was noted that the purpose of the physicians visit is to share their experience with their Tajik counterparts in the prevention and treatment of COVID-19.
The group will visit different parts of Tajikistan and during a month of their stay will exchange experience with Tajik doctors.
Following the visit of the WHO technical staff to Tajikistan on May 1-11, the experts of the WHO Regional Bureau submitted reports and recommendations to the MHSPP, one of which was to invite emergency teams to work with Tajik health professionals.
The government, the MHSPP and other relevant agencies have been putting much effort aimed at preventing the spread of COVID-19.
