Today, the Minister of Health and Social Protection of the Population of Tajikistan Nasim Olimzoda met with Japanese Ambassador to Tajikistan Takayuki Miyashita and Chief Representative of Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) in Tajikistan Hideki Tanabe.
The meeting focused on the issues relating to the prevention of coronavirus.
The parties expressed their interest in further strengthening cooperation in the prevention of coronavirus, which today is a concern of the international community.
It was noted that at the initiative of the Japanese Embassy in Tajikistan, the JICA Representative Office will soon transfer medical equipment to the Ministry of Health and Social Protection of the Population to prevent the spread of coronavirus.
Nasim Olimzoda expressed gratitude to the Japanese Embassy in Tajikistan and JICA Representative Office for continued support in this area.
