Tajik and Belarusian Health Ministers Discuss COVID-19 Prevention and Treatment

Issues relating to the prevention and treatment of COVID-19 were discussed today by the Minister of Health and Social Protection of the Population of Tajikistan Jamoliddin Abdullozoda and his Belarusian counterpart Vladimir Karanik during a phone conversation.

While considering the current alarming situation in the world, the ministers considered it necessary to establish close cooperation for the prevention and treatment of infected people.

They also discussed hospitalization of patients and the organization of video conferences with the participation of specialists of the two countries.

In order to study the experience of various countries in the field of prevention and treatment of COVID-19 infected patients, Abdullozoda recently had phone talks with ministers of some states and representatives of relevant organizations and institutions, including the Uzbek Minister of Health Alisher Shadmanov, WHO Regional Director for Europe Hans Henry Kluge and others.
