Training Course on Leadership and Health Management for Family Nurses Held

With the aim of preparing national-level trainers based on the request and implementation of the World Health Organization’s (WHO) “Road Map” for the European and Central Asian regions, and developing a two-month training program for family nurses on leadership and health management, a training course was launched on October 27 at the Ministry of Health and Social Protection of the Population of the Republic of Tajikistan.

The training is being conducted for trainers of the State Educational and Clinical Center for Nursing and senior nurses of public health centers in Dushanbe.

The opening ceremony was attended by the Head of the WHO Country Office in Tajikistan, Dr. Victor Olsavszky, the Head of the Department of Medical and Pharmaceutical Education, Human Resources Policy and Science of the Ministry Shahlo Ashurion, the Director of the State Educational and Clinical Center for Nursing Zuhro Abdurahmonzoda, as well as health sector specialists.

The officials emphasized the purpose and objectives of the training, highlighting the important contribution of family nurses to ensuring public health protection.

It should be noted that the training course will continue until October 31 and will include a series of lectures and presentations by sector experts for all participants.
