The XI Congress of Oncologists and Radiologists of the CIS countries was held online on April 23, which was attended by the Director of the State Institution “Republican Cancer Research Center” of the Ministry of Health and Social Protection of the Population of Tajikistan Zafar Huseynzoda and field specialists.
The forum was attended by leaders and specialists of oncology institutions of the CIS countries, who exchanged views on the solution of field’s existing problems, as well as the introduction of new methods of cancer treatment.
It should be noted that the CIS Congress of Oncologists and Radiologists was held for the first time in 1996 in Russian Moscow, and in 2010 in Tajikistan.
According to the plan, the Congress was to be held this year in Kazan. However, given the coronavirus situation, it was decided to conduct it online.
Tajik specialists made their meaningful presentations and discussed important issues in the field of oncology and radiology.
