Tajikhydroelektromontazh Company has provided the Dushanbe Health Department with 20,000 tests, 10 ventilation machines, and 500 sets of special medical clothing worth more than 5 million somoni.
The First Deputy Minister of Health and Social Protection of the Population of Tajikistan Saida Umarzoda said that the Ministry of Health and Social Protection in collaboration with other ministries and agencies has done a lot to prevent the coronavirus spread.
She noted that the Republican staff and a comprehensive action plan are being implemented in ministries and agencies in order to prevent the coronavirus spread.
“It is gratifying that today many ministries and agencies are working together to prevent the transmission of this virus to Tajikistan,” said Umarzoda.
While delivering medical equipment, a company representative noted that the provided tests will be distributed to all public hospitals in Dushanbe.
The tests are designed for a quick diagnosis.
Tajikhydroelektromontazh intends to purchase more than 20 units of mechanical ventilation equipment from well-known companies for Dushanbe healthcare institutions in the near future.
