Ministry of Health and Social Protection of Population of the Republic of Tajikistan

The WHO is ready to send operational specialists to Tajikistan. This was stated yesterday during a telephone conversation between the Minister of Health and Social Protection of the Population of Tajikistan Jamoliddin Abdullozoda and the WHO Regional Director for Europe Hans Kluge.

The parties discussed the fight against the coronavirus and treatment of patients in Tajikistan.

Abdullozoda noted that Tajikistan is currently taking all the necessary measures to prevent the spread of the coronavirus infection and treat patients.

Kluge proposed setting up a mobile laboratory for testing the population at large.

Abdullozoda and Kluge also exchanged views on other health issues.
