On September 19, the Ministry of Health and Social Protection of the Population hosted a control meeting under the Deputy Minister Zulfia Abdusamatzoda regarding the implementation of a number of national programs in the field of mother and child, as well as healthy nutrition.
The head of the Department for the Organization of Medical Services for Mothers and Children and Family Regulation Zoir Nabiev gave information about the implementation of national sectoral programs in the field of mother and child, as well as healthy nutrition.
It was noted that the implementation of the “National communication program of the first 1000 days of a child’s life for 2020-2024”, “State program for the development of school food in f Tajikistan for 2022-2027” and “Multidisciplinary plan for improving nutrition in Tajikistan for 2021-2025” are currently being implemented according to the approved plans.
It was said that these issues are under strict control and are constantly analyzed and discussed at the meetings of the Minister.
Further, the heads of a number of sub-structural institutions of the Department of Organization of Medical Services for Mothers and Children and Family Regulation of the Ministry also presented reports.
