On March 16, the Ministry of Health and Social Protection of the Population of Tajikistan hosted a regional briefing, which was attended by the Deputy Minister Abdukholik Amirzoda, Head of the Department of Sanitary and Epidemiological Security, Emergency Situations and Emergency Medical Care Navruz Jafarov, the World Bank mission representatives, as well as virtual by representatives of the World Bank and development partners.
The briefing focused on the current state and prospects of possible prevention of pandemic spread, collection and analysis of primary data in Central Asia, especially in Tajikistan.
The parties expressed interest in expanding mutually beneficial cooperation in this area.
It should be noted that as part of this briefing, a meeting of the World Bank mission with representatives of a number of ministries, agencies and committees of the country is also planned.
