On May 21, representatives of the Ministry of Health and Social Protection of the Population of Tajikistan met with the delegation of the Chinese Shandong Province headed by the Deputy Chairman of the Standing Commission of the People’s Congress of the Shandong Province, Mr. Wang Liang
The main issue that was discussed during the meeting was the establishment of mutually beneficial bilateral cooperation with the Shandong Province in the field of healthcare.
The leadership of the Qilu Hospital and Eye Diseases as part of the delegation expressed their readiness to establish cooperation and exchange of specialists in the field of eye diseases.
The ministry’s representative informed the guests about the achievements of healthcare and social protection of the country’s population and the existing opportunities of the industry, as well as the ministry’s readiness to cooperate in all priority areas, including in the field of cardiac surgery, liver transplantation, diabetes mellitus, eye diseases, childhood diseases, infectious diseases, etc., particularly traditional medicine.
It was noted that the ministry is ready to exchange in the direction of conducting master classes, eye surgeries, exchanging information on achievements in the field of modern medicine, traditional medicine, creating a system of training, retraining and advanced training of Tajik specialists in China.
The visit of the Chinese delegation to Tajikistan took place from May 19 through May 21.
