In order to prevent COVID-19 and to immunize the population, on the evening of May 25, Tajikistan received 241,920 doses of Moderna vaccine as part of the Emergency Project to Combat COVID-19 (TEC-19).
According to the decision of the Republican COVID-19 Prevention Commission, vaccination against coronavirus infection is mandatory for citizens over 18 years of age.
The vaccine is provided free of charge to citizens.
