On October 18, the First Deputy Minister of Health and Social Protection of the Population Ghafur Muhsinzoda met with the World Bank Mission to support the implementation of the Emergency Project for Combating COVID-19 in Tajikistan.
The parties exchanged views on the implementation of this project, which is aimed at the prevention of COVID-19 in Tajikistan and is funded by the World Bank.
The project has been approved within the framework of the Financing Agreement between the Government of Tajikistan and the World Bank.
To date, a number of important and timely measures have been taken in the country to prevent the spread of COVID-19 under this project.
